Working on Projects and Tomato Pie from From My Carolina Home

This week will be hit and miss for working on projects. I need to get the special one farther along for a quilt along later in the month. At this point, I am just not sure how I can work it around the calendar. So, much will depend on how much will get done this week. I have stitched out another Christmas embroidery. I began by choosing colors that match the accent fabric I planned to use. The green is more of a pine green rather than a Christmas green.

Sunday Chat – Garden, Kitchen and News!! from From My Carolina Home

Well, it has been quite a week. The temperature was so cool one morning this week, that I put on long pants and a sweater before going downstairs to the kitchen for a cup of the industrial grade jet fuel that I call coffee. A bit of this and that from From My Carolina Home

I did manage to get a bit of sewing time this week to make a couple of sunglasses cases. My Sweet Babboo had taken me shopping for some extra pairs of sunglasses to keep in the cars. He doesn’t want to have to turn around every time I forget the ones I usually have with me, LOL! But of course, that meant I needed cases for the new ones, and I color coded them to the car colors. Sunday Chat from From My Carolina Home

Seems like the number of activities has increased exponentially lately. Maybe it is just the contrast from the past year of staying home. We are playing pickleball a couple of times a week now, and doing more with friends as well. Two trips to Atlanta to deal with issues with my mother in law’s home didn’t help.
